Bwiza Riverside Homes, initiated by ADHI Africa Holding Limited, is a groundbreaking sustainable construction project in Kigali. The project aligns with the government’s focus on climate-resilient infrastructure and sustainable urbanization.

February 11, 2022: The project was officially launched by His Excellency, President Paul Kagame, underscoring the government’s support and commitment to sustainable development initiatives. He inspected the 7 Model Homes and launched Bwiza Riverside Homes.

The project shall be developed in a number of amalgamated plots, respectively with a total area of approximately 30 hectares. The phase 1 of the development will be over an area of approximately 5.2 ha.

The entire five phases of the development once complete consist of over 2,208 homes ranging from 2-bedroom units to 4- bedroom units. The project will be implemented in Five phases over a period of several years. The first phase was completed in May 2024 with 247 units.

Mr. Hassan is a seasoned Infrastructure Expert and Visionary Leader with over 20 years of experience in civil engineering and project delivery across Africa, Europe, and Asia. A graduate of East London University with a BSc in Civil Engineering, he has held senior roles—including Project Manager and Program Manager—at a leading American international engineering firm, overseeing multi-billion dollar infrastructure projects.

A registered Professional Engineer in the UK and PMI-certified, Hassan is known for his excellence in execution and deep commitment to Africa’s development through transformative infrastructure projects.
